Hats
Here’s my collection of hats past and present. I’ve developed quite the large collection as it’s one of my favorite souvenirs to buy. Some hats have been retired due to age and ware so I like the idea of keeping a record of them and where I got them.
I’ll slowly be adding photos as I take them. I’m particularly interested in having a bunch of photos of my face but I’m looking to have fun with the locations.
Current Hats
SD Super Bloom
I picked this up in 2026 at a Super Bloom ultimate game. I love their logo and style. Plus it’s a very comfy hat.

SD Growlers
This hat was purchased on the 4th of July, 2026 at a Growler’s ultimate game. It is a similar style to the super bloom hat but with a cool gray color scheme.

SD Wave
Another sports team hat. I bought this at my first San Diego Wave Soccer game. The branding is so great I wear it often to represent San Diego.

Hartford Yard Goats
I picked up this cap at Dunkin’ Field at a game in Hartford. Even if it’s AA, I’m glad to see more pro sports in Connecticut, especially downtown. Leaning into the goofy mascot is fun and the new stadium is small enough that there’s no bad seats.

Brixton Corduroy
This is a hat I picked up in Oceanside at a local clothing shop, but the photo is at my brother’s place in Massachusetts with his jacket feeling very New England.

Brixton Straw Hat
I got this hat at that same store while my sister was visiting in 2026. I like that it gives me a little more sun protection while being comfy and not entirely. Here I wore it to our friend’s 2026 slip-n-slide party in mid-June with Denver.

Brixton Tweed Newsboy Cap
I got this at the same time as the straw hat but gives me more jazz club vibes than beach. My friend’s cat Nina is not impressed.

Hecho en Mexico
One of my older hats, this is from my honeymoon in Cancun in 2014.

Retired Hats
Old Fedora
This gem of an old photo is labeled “Halloween”. Memory of what I was supposed to be escapes me so I’m going to posit I was a young mobster. I think this was my paternal grandfather’s hat that was eventually destroyed by my brother’s teething great dane puppy. RIP.

Chicken Hat
This is an iconic piece of personal history. The chicken hat was originally a halloween costume but became a significant part of my personal identity during my middle school years. I believe my mother helped me make 4 iterations of this hat. The first had a wider brim. One also had a flashlight in the beak. I’m guessing this is v3. I still will occasionally have hometown friends or family mention this hat. It’s memory will live on.
