Here’s my collection of hats past and present. I’ve developed quite the large collection as it’s one of my favorite souvenirs to buy. Some hats have been retired due to age and ware so I like the idea of keeping a record of them and where I got them.

I’ll slowly be adding photos as I take them. I’m particularly interested in having a bunch of photos of my face but I’m looking to have fun with the locations.

Current Hats

SD Super Bloom

I picked this up in 2026 at a Super Bloom ultimate game. I love their logo and style. Plus it’s a very comfy hat.

SD Wave

Another sports team hat. I bought this at my first San Diego Wave Soccer game. The branding is so great I wear it often to represent San Diego.

Brixton Corduroy

This is a hat I picked up in Oceanside at a local clothing shop, but the photo is at my brother’s place in Massachusetts with his jacket feeling very New England.

Retired Hats

Old Fedora

This gem of an old photo is labeled “Halloween”. Memory of what I was supposed to be escapes me so I’m going to posit I was a young mobster. I think this was my paternal grandfather’s hat that was eventually destroyed by my brother’s teething great dane puppy. RIP.

Chicken Hat

This is an iconic piece of personal history. The chicken hat was originally a halloween costume but became a significant part of my personal identity during my middle school years. I believe my mother helped me make 4 iterations of this hat. The first had a wider brim. One also had a flashlight in the beak. I’m guessing this is v3. I still will occasionally have hometown friends or family mention this hat. It’s memory will live on.
