French Toast Breakfast Bake
This is a family classic breakfast recipe, great for holidays and birthdays. Typically we make it the night before and bake it im the morning.

Ingredients
- butter
- bread
- 6-8 eggs
- 1 quart cream
- vanilla,
- cinnamon sugar
- sliced fruit (blueberries, apples, or strawberries)
- powdered sugar
- maple syrup
Directions
- Grease a glass casserole dish well with a stick of butter
- Tear up bread and add to the dish
- Mix 6-8 eggs: 6-8, cream: 1 quart, vanilla, and pour over the top
- Top with cinnamon sugar and diced pieces of the remaining butter
- Add sliced fruit (blueberries, apples, or strawberries) to the top
- Bake covered with tin foil at 325°F (165°C) for 30 minutes and then uncover to brown for 15 minutes.
- Serve with powdered sugar and maple syrup
