Replying to “Learning Log, Mar 2024”:

A hella long reading list, because I had time to read articles in between jobs! March 2024 marks my transition to a product role at Webflow.

I love your Palm Springs picture! My wife and I lived out in the Coachella Valley and March is a great time to visit (aka not hot)! I need to check out some of their museums. I’m only a couple hours away and are there often to see family.

I use https://fed.brid.gy/ and webmentions to allow people to follow me from the fediverse. To send webmentions I use a netlify build plugin but you could use something like https://webmention.app/

For displaying webmentions on a static site, I went with using webmention.io as my webmention endpoint and fetching responses in the browser using https://github.com/PlaidWeb/webmention.js To send webmentions, I have an automatic process in my Netlify build to check my feed and send mentions, but you could also use https://webmention.app/ to...
