Caught this wild view on my last flight home from the east coast. I’ve never seen the last glows of sunset from above. Was even more wild in motion with a slight parallax effect.
Another great afternoon playing ultimate on the beach and another great sunset. Technically this photo was from last week but I was too busy playing to get the sunset pic tonight. 😄
It’s dredging season again in Oceanside. Thankfully they kept the harbor beach clear so we have space for ultimate frisbee. The pier beach is a mess but I’ll admit the machines are kinda cool. Hopefully the sand decides to stay on the beach this year rather than blocking the harbor....
Gonna keep rolling with the beach photos because I know “May gray” is just a month away. Gonna take all I can get for now.
It was nice to hang out with friends on the beach this week. I’m loving the sunsets this time of year. The sky has been clear and I’m noticing a lot more stars and planets. With the warm weather, it seems like everyone else has been enjoying being outside too....
Love hanging out with this guy.
It’s been nice to play more pickleball this year, especially with scenes like this.
These might be my last photos from Washington this year. This was a cool sunset over the bay, but I like the contrast that came out when converted to black and white. Even though I know the sun and sky were bright red, I like that the differences in darkness...
A nice doggy sunset after running around on the beach. Now we’re both worn out. 😄
I’m so glad to have access to places like this. Even if I have to share it with mosquitoes.
I caught these cool shots of the Oceanside pier and harbor when flying back from Washington recently. I like how you can see the sunset reflecting off the buildings and the waves breaking outside the harbor.
Saw this scene while out for a walk. The rust in the fading sunlight feels poetic.
The sunset yesterday was so stunning. Denver was just happy to be on the beach.
La puesta de sol de ayer fue impresionante. Denver estaba feliz de estar en la playa.
Goodbye winter
It was nice to play ultimate on the beach again now that daylight savings gives us enough evening light. I love ending with these sunsets.
It was nice to watch the sun set over a super low tide today. Lots of rocks were flushed up onto the road from the king tides. The dogs especially enjoyed the salty air and a long walk!
Hard to believe that we’ve had this little fluffball for almost 3 months now!
Always nice when you can see the sun setting behind Catalina Island (visible to the right). I’m glad we could end the weekend this way.
We’ve had some really great sunsets the past few weeks. So satisfying.
We saw a beautiful sunset this weekend with our friends. The gulls seemed like they were ready for the day to be over.
Loved getting to watch more sunsets this month. The ocean can be so calming.
